Abstract Reflections
RADO KIROV (born Bulgaria 1955)
Searching for a new creative outlet and complete freedom of expression, Rado embarked on a new artistic venture at the beginning of 2012 drawing on his extensive knowledge of silver smithing and years of experience in working with various different metals. Rado developed a unique technique of manipulating a sheet of stainless steel by hand, using the inherent physical properties of the metal to create a striking threedimensional surface that dynamically mirrors its surroundings and are expressed in this new medium, which he has called the Mercury Effect.
KARINA WISNIEWSKA (born Italy 1966)
International acclaimed artist and former concert pianist Karina Wisniewska redefines the art of painting in her extraordinary body of work that balances the organic with the geometric, and pulls at the polarities of stillness and movement. Using luminous colour, aflame in radiant reds, rich oranges and penetrating blues, she delicately combines her paint to create lush layers of texture in her engaging and elegantly colourful paintings. Wisniewska’s artistic process is both concealed and revealed in her evocative works.
